Mother is Italian-Me Canadian.I want to work in Italy and I speak the language-probability that i get hired?
What are the posibilities of me finding a job in Italy if I move there after completing a program here in tourism.I speak Italian and i will have to contact the italian embassy here, but I do not want to get there and discover tourism jobs are not in demand and or/they will likely hire native italians.I speak French English and Italian

As you are not a part of the European Union, the chances of finding legal work are rather slim.Italy tends to hire Italians for the tourist industry. The best you will find is teaching English for a miserable wage.Try contacting the Italian Embassy and asking for any companies who are searching for translators.

Nobody can answer this to you because saying "Italy" is like saying "America" or "Canada." There are too many variables in place in regards to the location, what companies are hiring at the time and other things of such. There is also the fact of how much education you have, how much you want to earn, where have you worked, etc. I suggest that you become much more specific and do research through real means. Yahoo answers is not the place.

people often end up doing jobs different to the one they imagined. You should think of other jobs you would be prepared to do if you cant do tourism, and furthermore , whether you really want to go to italy...It's a long way to go for a career 'move' especially if you entering at what i assume will be entry level position..Your languages will help you but they demand bilingual or trilingual for many jobs nowadays in europe good luck
