I am going to be traveling to Italy late June. I need a cell phone to get in touch with important people. I use AT&T (if it's not obvious). Will it still work or will I have to buy an Italian SIM card?

Hey, The phone is locked to the AT&T Network. Call technical support at 1-877-834-3318 and ask for the "subsidy unlock code" for your phone. They will take the information, and either give it to you there OR email it to you within a few days. If they ask why, you can explain to them that you are going to Italy and want to use it with an Italian SIM. They will tell you about AT&T World Traveler.. but that is a lot more expensive than just unlocking it. If they refuse to unlock it (the free way) then go to ebay.com, type in item # 250365495394 and purchase it from him. he is great at giving codes very quickly, and he will also give you instructions as to how to unlock it.
